Our client, a highly respected and expanding firm of pensions consultants and actuaries, have a superb opportunity for an experienced team leader to join their team in Glasgow. As Team Leader you will play a fundamental role in leading your team, playing a key role in the success of the team, in managing the clients allocated to the team and the overall success of the Practice and Firm. On a day to day basis the role covers all areas of responsibility for delivery of a high quality administration service and would include:
•Maintaining and developing further knowledge of pension schemes within the team.
•Appraisal processes including salay and bonus assessment
•Daily active management of workloads and workflows for the team.
•Ensuring an efficient, professional service is provided to meet all client/members’ needs.
•Having responsibility as the principal contact for a client portfolio and attending Trustee meetings to present on administration.
•In conjunction with the Administration Manager, ensuring that all delivery promises and performance standards are achieved.
•Being a point of reference on technical issues and non-standard cases
•Taking the lead in more complex/project work when required.
•Building and maintaining technical, procedures and client knowledge.
•Maintaining a good working knowledge of all systems and products.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience within Third Party Administration or In House Administration and will have led a team successfully. You will have a thorough knowledge of both DB and DC schemes, their administration and management, and have strong client facing skills. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to adapt to different personnel and individuals. Ideally you will have progressed with professional qualifications.
