This is a superb opportunity in the role of Deputy Team leader for an experienced senior to take the next step into Junior Manager. This growing third party pensions administrator with an excellent reputation in the industry is looking for the right person to support this friendly, professional team The role requirements are to provide all clients with a high level, quality administration service on a professional but personal basis which reflects the client’s needs and expectations. Day to day responsibilities include to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the administration department. Overseeing day to day administration work carried out by Pension Administrators within the team and daily post targets Checking benefit calculations and settlement on both DB and DC schemes for all leavers, retirements, transfers, divorce and deaths Calculating, processing and settling more complex benefit calculations Peer reviewing benefit calculations for senior members of schemes Checking sheets for bank transfer requests that are to be authorised by a director or manager on the internet banking system Checking monthly cash flows Overseeing the administration and rebrokes of any risk benefit arrangements Overseeing the administration and rebrokes of any risk benefit arrangements Dealing with difficult callers and problem cases and aim to resolve any issues in a timely manner. Other regular administration duties would include Checking monthly DC contributions and switches Checking annual renewals Checking members benefit statements including annual benefit statements, statutory money purchase illustrations and membership reconciliations Checking annual pension increases, monthly pensioner payrolls and end of year submissions to HMRC Assisting with the preparation of fee schedules Managing individual projects Checking ad hoc project work Data extraction from Profund Preparing Administration Reports Quarterly tax reports and event reporting.

You will have a minimum of 4 years experience within third party or in house pensions administration. You will have a confident and broad knowledge of pensions legislation and processes in different types of scheme bases and arrangements. You will have superb IT skills together with strong communication and team working abilities. Primarily you will be a superb pensions administrator who is looking to develop their already successful pensions career and to move to the next level.
