We have a superb opportunity for an experienced, senior level pensions administrator/team leader or Assistant consultant to join our client, a leading, global pensions services consultants, as a Client Service Manager
In the role, your clients will see you as a key point of contact, but there may be other more experienced colleagues working with you. You will be building your credibility with colleagues and clients by delivering high-quality work to clients.
Your client relationships may include being recognised for taking responsibility and accountability for the Benefits Administration services delivered and where appropriate influencing Operational colleagues to ensure a high quality service is provided.
You will demonstrate sound judgement in understanding your clients’ needs, and will be able to translate these needs where necessary into a work plan for you, senior or junior colleagues to deliver against.
You will ensure deadlines are managed effectively, and there is management of expectations on delivery times and budgets, both with colleagues and clients.
You will ensure client queries are dealt with quickly and accurately, either by answering them yourself, with appropriate review for quality standards, or by forwarding them to an appropriate colleague. Where you need to pass a query to the operational teams, you should retain ownership and ensure the task is closed down with the client appropriately. Where you need to pass queries to a more experienced colleague, you should use their involvement as a learning opportunity.
You will be an experienced pensions professional, possibly an administration team leader, looking for the opportunity to move into a more client facing, consultancy based role. Alternatively you may be a pensions consultant, looking for your next career move. Ideally you will be progressing well with professional pensions examinations and will have a solid, up to date, and extensive knowledge of pensions.
